The permanent collection gallery “Ancient Art” houses approximately 13,000 pieces from around the Mediterranean ranging in date from the Neolithic to the Byzantine period. The Egyptian collection includes several statues and objects from the Old Kingdom (ca. 2400 BCE) through the Ptolemaic Period (332-30 BCE).
